Cookie Policy

This page explains how Pendulum Atelier uses cookies on our website, what each type does, and how you can manage your preferences. We want to be straightforward with you about the data tools we use.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves to your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit. They help the website remember your actions or preferences over time, so you do not have to re-enter information each visit.
Cookies themselves cannot run programs, carry viruses, or access other data on your device. They are simply records of your interaction with a website, stored locally on your device and read back by the website on future visits.
Most browsers allow you to view, control, and delete cookies through their settings. You can read more about this in the browser-specific guidance further down this page.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They cannot be disabled as they ensure basic operations — such as maintaining your cookie preference settings — work correctly. They do not collect personal information.
- Session management and page navigation
- Storing your cookie consent choice (
cookieConsentin localStorage) - Security-related operations
Duration: Session or persistent (up to 12 months)
Analytics Cookies
These help us understand how visitors use our website — which pages are viewed most, where visitors come from, and how long they spend on the site. The data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We use this to improve our website's content and structure.
- Google Analytics (page views, session duration, traffic sources)
- Bing / Microsoft Clarity (if enabled)
Duration: Up to 26 months (Google Analytics default)
Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies track visits across websites to allow us to show relevant advertisements. They may also be used to limit how many times you see an ad and to measure how effective advertising campaigns are.
- Facebook Pixel (ad measurement and retargeting)
- Google Ads conversion tracking
Duration: 90 days to 2 years depending on the platform
Preference Cookies
These cookies remember settings you have chosen to personalise your experience — such as language preference or region. They make repeat visits more comfortable without requiring you to reconfigure settings each time.
- Language and locale settings
- Display preference selections
Duration: Up to 12 months
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our site are placed by third-party services that we use. These third parties have their own cookie and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review directly:
- Google Analytics — website usage analysis. Google Privacy Policy
- Google Ads — conversion tracking for paid advertising
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising measurement and audience insights
- Google Maps — embedded map on our homepage (may set cookies when displayed)
We do not have direct control over the cookies placed by these services. Disabling marketing or analytics categories below may limit the data these services can collect.
Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two duration categories:
- Session cookies — these exist only while your browser is open. They are deleted automatically when you close your browser tab or window.
- Persistent cookies — these remain on your device for a defined period, even after you close your browser. Expiry times range from a few days to up to 2 years, depending on the cookie's purpose.
You can delete any persistent cookie manually via your browser settings at any time.
