Our Approach

What Makes Our Workshop Different

We work with care rather than convenience. A watch that passes through our hands is treated as the precision instrument it is — not a routine job.

Component-Level Inspection

Every movement is examined under magnification before a single tool is raised. We identify the source of the issue rather than applying a general fix.

Manufacturer-Compatible Parts

Replacement components are sourced to match the original calibre specifications. We do not substitute with generic alternatives where the original specification matters.

Respecting Original Character

Finishing work follows the watch's original surface treatment. Brushed areas remain brushed. We restore, not reinvent.

Transparent Service Notes

You receive a written record of all work carried out, parts replaced, and post-service timing results — so you have a clear picture of your watch's condition.

Direct Workshop Communication

You speak directly with the people who work on your piece. No intermediaries, no call centres — just straightforward conversation about your timepiece.

Realistic Turnaround Timelines

We provide honest estimates based on the complexity of your watch and our current workload. We do not rush work that requires patience.

Is Your Watch Ready for Some Attention?

If your timepiece has been running irregularly, gathering dust, or simply hasn't been serviced in a while, we'd be glad to take a look. There's no pressure — just a conversation about what your watch might need.

Common Questions

Things People Often Ask Us

How do I know if my watch needs servicing?

Signs that a mechanical watch may benefit from attention include gaining or losing more than a minute per day, a sluggish crown feel, visible condensation under the crystal, or simply if it hasn't been serviced in five or more years. You're always welcome to bring it in for a no-obligation assessment before committing to any work.

Do you work on all watch brands?

We work on a broad range of mechanical and automatic watches — from Swiss heritage pieces to Japanese calibres and independent brands. We do not service quartz movements as a primary service, though we can advise on battery and gasket care for those pieces.

What happens after I drop off my watch?

We carry out an initial intake check and note the watch's condition on arrival. You'll receive a service estimate within 1–2 working days. Work only begins after your agreement. Throughout the process, you can contact us directly for updates, and we'll reach out if anything unexpected is found.

Can you source original parts for older or discontinued models?

For many vintage calibres, original new-old-stock parts are still available through our supplier network. For movements where original parts are no longer obtainable, we use manufacturer-compatible alternatives of equivalent quality and will always discuss this with you before proceeding.

How long does a full overhaul typically take?

A full overhaul typically takes 14–21 working days. This includes disassembly, cleaning, parts replacement, reassembly, multi-position timing tests, and a 48-hour power reserve check for automatic pieces. More complex complications may take a little longer — we'll always give you a realistic estimate upfront.

What are your payment options?

We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit and debit cards. Payment is collected upon collection of your watch. A deposit may be requested for parts procurement on particularly involved overhauls.
