Watch repair services

What We Offer

Three Services, Each Designed for a Different Kind of Need

Not every watch needs the same attention. We offer three distinct services — from focused internal work to a complete overhaul — so that the scope matches what your timepiece actually requires.

Our Methodology

How We Approach Every Service

Every watch that comes to us begins the same way: an intake assessment. We photograph the watch, note its condition on arrival, and record basic timing performance before any tools are raised. This gives us a baseline and ensures that both parties understand the starting point.

From there, the service path depends on what is needed. For a watch showing timing irregularities but otherwise in good exterior condition, a movement restoration is the appropriate course. For a piece with a scratched crystal and surface marks but reliable movement, case and crystal renewal addresses the concern without unnecessary internal work.

For watches that have not been serviced in five or more years — or those recently acquired without a service history — the full overhaul addresses everything: movement, case, and a series of post-reassembly tests that give us confidence in the result before the piece is returned.

We discuss the recommended path with each owner before work begins. Nothing proceeds without agreement.

Movement restoration

Service One

Movement Restoration

A comprehensive service focused entirely on the internal mechanism. We disassemble the movement completely, inspect each component under magnification, and replace any worn parts with manufacturer-compatible alternatives. The calibre is reassembled to its original tolerances, with full cleaning, mainspring inspection, balance wheel regulation, and lubrication of all pivot points.

This service suits heirloom pieces, vintage finds, and modern mechanical watches that have begun to show signs of drift or inconsistency in their timekeeping. It addresses the root cause rather than the symptom.

Complete movement disassembly and inspection under magnification
Ultrasonic cleaning of all movement components
Mainspring inspection and replacement if required
Balance wheel regulation to original tolerance
Lubrication of all pivot points with grade-appropriate oils
Multi-position timing machine test on completion

Case and crystal renewal

Service Two

Case & Crystal Renewal

Addresses the exterior condition of your timepiece. The case is polished or refinished to reduce surface wear, following the original treatment — brushed surfaces remain brushed, polished areas are restored to their original sheen. Scratched or chipped crystals are replaced with appropriate mineral or sapphire glass. Water-resistance gaskets are renewed where applicable, and bracelet links and clasps are inspected and adjusted.

Suitable for watches that have accumulated daily wear marks over time but whose movements are still performing well. We work with the original finishing pattern rather than imposing a new one.

Case polishing or refinishing to original surface specification
Crystal replacement with mineral or sapphire glass as appropriate
Water-resistance gasket renewal
Pressure test to rated specification after gasket work
Bracelet link and clasp inspection and adjustment

Service Three

Full Overhaul Service

A thorough end-to-end service that addresses the complete watch — movement, case, and all functional components. Every element is examined: the escapement and gear train, crown and pushers, dial and hands, crystal and case. After reassembly, the movement undergoes timing tests across multiple positions, followed by a 48-hour power reserve verification for automatic pieces.

This is the appropriate choice for timepieces that have not been serviced in five or more years, watches recently acquired from estate sales or auctions with an unknown service history, or any piece where both internal and external condition has declined. It is our most comprehensive service offering.

Full case and crystal renewal (all elements of Service Two)
Escapement and gear train diagnostic checks
Dial and hands inspection, cleaning, and repositioning
Multi-position timing test on completion
